Dream Big - Read! our Summer Reading Program kicks-off on Wednesday, May 23 at noon in the Granger Park!

We're so excited about our Summer Reading Program!   At our Kick-Off, we'll have entertainment, crafts and food!  The first 100 kids who commit to Dream Big - Read! get a bag of surprises from the Library!  We'll have more information on this website as the event gets closer!

If you are interested in volunteering at the Dream Big - Read! kick-off and are age 16 or older, call the Library at    999- 2088 to volunteer, or come in the Library and sign-up.  We'll need you from 11:00 - 3:00, or when you're available during those hours - thank you!  A contribution or a giftcard to the Friends of the Granger Public Library is a great way to help provide the Dream Big - Read! program for our area students. 

While you walk, jog, or drive pass the Library, slow down and look at our front window!  It's filled with colorful art done by Granger area students during Story Time Craft Time for our Dream Big - Read! Summer Reading Program! We've got some terrific budding artists in our community!

 We have just added some great new books, and new DVD's to our collection.  We also have a selection of libros en Espanol.  These books are written for a younger audience but would also be helpful to anyone learning Spanish.

 If there is a book or books that you would like to read and it's not available in our Library, please let your Library Staff know.  We have a short request form to complete so we can request the book(s).  We must include either the exact title, or author's complete name to access the book through the Inter-Library Loan System.  We can check for the availability of the book(s) through the System with other Iowa libraries. 

 Thanks to all of you who have returned late books or DVD's!   Remember, you can always use the dropbox outside the Library to return overdue materials!  

  We also have two computers and laptops for your use!  If you need to have copies made of a document(s), we can copy them for you, too for a minimal cost!
